Hardanger Saft- og Siderfabrikk
Hardanger Saft- og Siderfabrikk (translation: Hardanger Juice and Cider Factory) is a traditional apple orchard that produces apple juice, cider and liquor. The orchard is located at Lekve in Ulvik and has a restaurant that can seat up to 80 guests. The orchard offers tour where you’ll get to see the farm and production facilities. You’ll learn about the production process and get to taste the different products.
Gro and Hans is the fifth generation to run Syse Gard since 1888 and offer tour where they tell the history of the farm and about the fruit and meat they produce at the farm. There’s also tastings and a chance to visit the store, where you can buy everything from jam, sausages, cured meats, juice and cider, deserts and more. Freshly picked fruits are also available when in season.
Ulvik Frukt & Cideri
Ulvik Frukt & Cideri is a family owned business located at the sunny farm of Hakastad in Ulvik. They mainly grow apples that are made into delicious apple juice and cider. The tour recounts the history of the farm as well as the production of apple juice and cider. They also offer tastings.
