Trip to Osa and the Osa-mountain

The Osa-mountain is an area in the high-mountain 1250 m above sealevel, around 20 km. from Ulvik. On clear days you can see all the way to Hardangerjøkulen. The road climbs in narrow turns up into the mountain. Osa is a small settlement by Osafjorden, here you find Hjaldande art-gallery, Osa Café and Hardanger Basecamp. Osa is also the startingpoint for a nice hike in Nordalen.

• Departs from the tourist office in Ulvik at 11.00 Tuesday and Thursday.
• Return from Hjaldande art gallery 12.45.
• Back at the tourist office 13.00.

Roundtrip Ulvik – Espelandsdalen – Vallavik – Ulvik

The trip goes through the beautiful Espelandsdalen where you pass Espelandsfossen. After the 7. km long Vallaviktunnelen, there will be a stop at Hardangerbrua. Here it is possible to walk on the brigde.

• Departs from the tourist office in Ulvik at 11.00. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Back at the tourist office 13.00.

Tjoflot and Oksen

The Oksen mountain peak is 1242 m. above sealevel. Here you will get a spectacular view of Hardangerfjorden and surrounding areas. Starting at Tjoflot it is possible to use this transport both ways.

• Departs from the tourist office in Ulvik every Saturday at 09.00. and 15.00.
• Return from Tjoflot 16.00.
• Back in Ulvik 17.00.
